
Glory Mwenya Chipoya is the Chief Legal Counsel at Konkola Copper Mines (KCM), having previously served as Senior Legal Counsel at KCM. He brings over 14 years of post-Bar qualification experience in corporate and commercial law, with specialisation in mining, insolvency law and commercial dispute resolution.
Prior to KCM, Glory held senior positions across the private and public sectors, including Associate at Chibesakunda & Co Advocates, part of DLA Piper Africa, and Manager – Legal and Enforcement at the Securities and Exchange Commission, both in Lusaka. He also gained fellowship experience through the International Flagship Secondment Programme at King & Wood Mallesons in Hong Kong under the International Lawyers for Africa Programme (ILFA).
Glory holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from American University Washington College of Law as a Fulbright Scholar and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Zambia. He is qualified to practise law in Zambia and is an active member of the Law Association of Zambia.
